GreenThumb is an IoT aeroponic system (IoPonic) directed for automated urban gardening. It is composed of 4 parts:
- An extensible vertical structure for support
- An embedded system for plant and environment monitoring and actuation.
- An App for control and display of metrics
- A Database for storing macros
This project was made for the Curricular Unit of Mobile Networks and the Internet of Things, lectured by Prof. António Grilo, for which we obtained a mark of 18.80. We were also finalists for Vodafone’s prize for this Curricular Unit.
